A Vision In White: Olandria Carthen Takes Over The Vietnam Coast with Harper’s Bazaar

VIETNAM – Olandria Carthen graces the digital cover of Harper's Bazaar Vietnam, celebrating her first-ever cover for a major publication. The cover includes a digital spread of Carthen in various looks ranging from statement to embellished elegance.  

The Alabama native and widely regarded fan favorite, shocked fans and industry watchers alike with the surprise reveal of her Harper’s Bazaar cover. Far removed from the Villas of Fiji, Carthen takes over a castle in Vietnam placing her flag in the sand as fashion’s newest contender.

Captured by renowned wedding photographer Stanely Barb, whose work graces the pages of Vanity Fair, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, and Vogue, Carthen appears as a vision in white along the picturesque coast of Vietnam.

She stuns in a luxurious, floor-length off-white gown by American designer and close collaborator Christian Siriano. Crafted from silky, draped fabric that hugs her frame, the mermaid-style silhouette cascades to the floor, forming a flowing train. The bodice features a asymmetrical neckline with delicate pleating and gathers at the waist, accentuating her curves. The look is elevated by a dramatic, oversized headpiece crafted from layers of sheer pale fabric, resembling an enormous flower or cloud.

Carthen and Siriano have collaborated on two other standout occasions, including the Glamour Women of the Year Awards and the 2026 Golden Globes, with both appearances dominating the social landscape as audiences praised the duo’s ability to consistently craft unforgettable, buzzworthy moments.
